Victory Lutheran Church is proud to present an educational seminar series on Dementia and Alzheimer’s. If you or a loved one is suffering from Dementia or Alzheimer’s, and you have wondered about their behavior or how to care for them then we invite you to attend these powerful seminars. Each session is a 90-minute seminar where participants will learn more about the causes of the disease, how it progresses, and best practices on ways to care for our loved ones as the disease progresses.

If you are interested in finding out more about Dementia or Alzheimer’s, please plan to join us for the following seminars. Adult day care is available for anyone you bring that will be needing an activity while you attend the seminar. Please REGISTER so that we may plan appropriately for those who will attend.

Session One deals with brain changes that happen during the dementia journey. We will learn how dementia affects each area of the brain and how we, as caregivers, can work with the disease instead of against it.

Session Two deals with how we can learn to focus on what our loved ones can do and use that knowledge to make our caregiving journey easier and more fulfilling for us and our loved ones.

Session Three teaches us to master three techniques that will make our days go by faster and will help keep our loved one happy and entertained.
