Richmond's Own Susan Greenbaum Returns to Shady Grove Coffeehouse!

Richmond singer-songwriter Susan Greenbaum is set to perform at the Shady Grove Coffeehouse folk music concert series as part of its exciting 24th season.

Susan Greenbaum's story is legendary: She committed the first sin of musicians—she quit her day job. Trading her corporate executive power suits for a life of performance and songwriting, the Harvard graduate is now a full-time artist whose tax return proudly reads, "Singer-songwriter."

Since making that leap, Susan has released six critically acclaimed CDs and garnered numerous national recognition, including the prestigious Smithsonian Songwriters Award and a Grand Prize overall win in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. She is celebrated for a sound that reviewers have compared to the likes of Mary Chapin Carpenter and Bonnie Raitt.

Known for drawing big, enthusiastic crowds, Susan’s performances are lively, diverse, and powerful. Don't miss this opportunity to help us welcome her back to the Shady Grove stage!
