The most inconvenient part of this is that Husbands and Wives must each fill out a separate Membership Request Form, but please turn them in at the same time so we may process your membership requests together.
At Steel Valley Church, we believe that church membership is an important aspect of Christian discipleship. As we join together, we are able to encourage each other in our Christian walks and hold each other accountable.
There are three steps in the membership process at Steel Valley Church:
1. Complete the Discover SVC Course
(In this course, we discuss what we believe at Steel Valley and how we operate as a church. NOTE: Completing this course does not obligate you to join, so if you just want to learn more about Steel Valley, this is a good way to do that.)
2. Fill out the Membership Request Form (below)

3. We will contact you to schedule a Membership Interview
When we receive your Membership Request Form, we’ll contact you to schedule a membership interview with one of our pastors and elders. This gives us a chance to get to know you a bit, hear how you came to faith in Christ, and for you to ask any additional questions about the church.

4. Complete our 3-part New Member's Online Class
Link to the first video will be provided upon submission of this form. This class will take you through important aspects of what Church Membership looks like according to the Bible and our church. Within each video description is a link to the next video in the class series.

After you’ve completed these steps, our elders review and approve the Membership Request Form. On a regular basis, we welcome new members to our church during our quarterly members meetings.
