A Men’s Ministry Fall Bible Study in 1 Samuel just launched with two options: Tuesdays at 6:30am in B103 and Wednesdays at 6:15pm in C124. In this study, John Woodhouse shows how 1 Samuel reveals the importance of true leadership and the character of the godly leader. More significantly, this volume points forward to Jesus Christ, the fulfillment of God’s promises to His people and the only perfect leader the world has ever known. The study will progress in three main parts over the next year:
• Part 1 - Samuel: The Leader God Provided (Chapters 1-7) - 12 weeks
• Part 2 - Saul: The Leader the People Asked For (Chapters 8-15) - 12 weeks
• Part 3 - David: The Leader “According to God’s Own Heart” (Chapters 16-31) - 26 weeks
