About Event
What is D-Now?
Disciple Now weekend is a youth retreat designed to be at home for 7th through 12th graders. There are several elements to disciple now weekend; worship, Bible study, missions, and recreation. This is created to take students to a deeper level in their relationship with Christ, connect them with local mission opportunities, and help them enjoy the fellowship of other believers.
Curriculum
Reign immerses teenagers in a study of a facet of Jesus Christ that has received little attention. That facet is Christ’s majestic glory and preeminence as He reigns from the throne of heaven.
- Awaken to the supreme majesty of God’s Son!
- Adore Him as King and Redeemer!
- Arise to join Him in bringing His kingdom on earth!
How much does it cost?
The cost for the Disciple Now weekend is $50. However, we never want cost to be why your student does not attend. If money is an issue, please contact me at
tyler@pibc.church. We will do everything we can to make sure your student can attend.
What is a host home?
Students are grouped by grade and gender and are assigned a host home. At the host homes, the students will meet with their small group, sleep and eat breakfast. Texas A&M College BSM students will lead these groups.
What if I have a prior commitment?
While it would be ideal for your student to be able to attend the entire weekend, we understand that there are sometimes when this is not possible. If your student has a prior commitment that would hinder them from coming to the entire weekend, no problem. They can leave for their event and then come back. We would love to have them for even part of the weekend, and we are sure that God will work greatly in each student's life that comes, even if it is just for one session.
