High School Mid-Summer Refresher is a 3 day local experience with Rev. Kenny & Youth Dir. Kate for rising grades 10th, 11th, 12th, and CO 24'! Students will meet each morning at the church at 7am and go home each night around 8pm to rest, shower, and sleep.
Summer is full of so many good things that nurture us body, mind, and spirit… unless we mistake ‘relaxing’ for ‘rest’. Relaxing is awesome! It’s nice to slow down and enjoy some legitimate down time. But rest and rejuvenation are rooted in intentionality.
Our Mid-Summer Refresher is an intentional retreat to get our bodies, minds, and spirits into shape! This 3 day local experience will include a day at Saint Leo Abbey, followed by a day of service partnering with Beth-El Farmworkers Ministry, and concluding with a fellowship day of outdoor Florida adventures. Join us for this amazing experience that will get you ready to take on the remainder of your summers and allow you to put your best foot forward as we head back to school!
Participants will receive 10 service hours.
