About Group

The Central Union Church of Christ’s Grief Serving Team stands as a pillar of support, embodying the love and care of Christ, for those navigating the murky waters of loss and grief. Our dedicated team, deeply rooted in the values of compassion, empathy, and service, endeavors to create a sanctuary of hope and healing for individuals grappling with the heartaches that accompany the loss of loved ones.

Understanding that grief is a personal journey, our team is committed to being sensitive companions, offering a listening ear and sharing words of comfort and encouragement. We engage in thoughtful acts of care, providing prayerful support and practical guidance to bereaved individuals, aiding them as they walk through the various stages of grief.

The Grief Serving Team also extends its support beyond the immediate aftermath of loss. Recognizing that grief does not operate on a timeline, our continuous engagement ensures that individuals do not feel isolated or forgotten as time passes.

Our aim is to be the embodiment of the church’s love and fellowship, ensuring that even in the darkest moments of life, the light of Christ's love continues to shine brightly, bringing warmth and consolation to grieving hearts.
