About Event

The Deacon body is recommending Phillip Myers and Will White to serve at Living Hope (see bios below). Jeff Carter, Stephen Carrico, Eric Hagan, Bruce Logan, Keith Ryan, and Kirk Vessel have served as deacon previously and have agreed to serve another term.

Members will vote to affirm these men beginning Sunday, October 24. Affirmation will remain open through Tuesday, October 26. If you have questions about these candidates, please talk to them, speak to one of our active deacons, email info@lhbg.org, or speak to our Shepherding Pastor, Bill Wade.

Phillip Myers

Phillip has been married to his wife Rebecca since 2009. They have two children, Ellie (10) & Wesley (7). Phillip was born and raised in Bowling Green. He served in the United States Navy from 2003 to 2007. Phillip attended Rockfield United Methodist Church with his family growing up and went through confirmation in 6th grade. After the Navy, he began visiting Living Hope where he met his wife, Rebecca. They both joined Living Hope in 2008 and Phillip was baptized. He and his wife have served in the preschool ministry for 6 years. Phillip is employed by Bowling Green Municipal Utilities as a Journeyman Lineman.

Will White

Will White, son of Robin and Todd White, grew up in Scottsville. Will chose to follow Jesus at an early age, was baptized at Living Hope, and he's been a member for many years. He attended WKU in 2017, then LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. In 2020, he moved back to Bowling Green from Texas and married Summer Davis. Will now works as an engineer at Blackhawk Aerospace Composites in Morgantown.
