Zechariah and Elizabeth had lived their lives in righteousness. They were waiting, hoping that God would hear their cry and provide them a child. They were also hoping that God would send the Messiah. Little did they know that God would send an angel to meet Zechariah in the temple. He wasn't ready for that! He wasn't ready for what the angel had to say either.
