First Medina is partnering with LifeStone Learning Centers to help them collect books to establish community libraries in Uganda that not only offer access to knowledge, but also inspire dreams, build skills and create hope for a brighter future. Here's how you can contribute:
1. DONATE BOOKS - their goal is to collect a minimum of 20,000 books for 4 library locations. They need books for all ages, ranging from picture books to storybooks, novels and educational resources.
- Bring all donated books (please make sure they are either new or gently used with no visible marks or stains) to First Medina on Sunday, April 27th and May 4th.
2. SPREAD THE WORD - Share the initiative with your friends and family (you can do so by sharing their website).
3. VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME - Help them sort and pack the donated books so they can ship them to Uganda this summer. Email Justin Brenenstuhl (justin.b@lifestoneministries.org) for more information.
4. MONETARY DONATIONS - Donations help cover the expenses of transporting the books and other ministry resources to Uganda.
