About Event

Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by serving with purpose at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s annual MLK Day of Service. Volunteers will come together to assemble Convoy of Hope care kits, serve at Central Union Mission, support community outreach through Feeding the Community and the Empowerment Center, and partner with Washington Hebrew Congregation. Along with these volunteer opportunities, we are launching the You’ve Been Blessed Campaign, empowering you to serve your community through acts of kindness.

There are several service projects leading up to the MLK Day of Service. Please pay close attention to the day(s) and time of the shifts you are signing up for.
