Thanks for your interest in getting the food to the schools! The bags of food are packed into plastic bins by our packing team. Then this role loads and delivers the bins to the 5 schools.
WHAT: You and one other person will load and unload the 70+ bins, each weighing up to 20 pounds. Our class 4 box truck has a liftgate and we have carts to help with moving, lifting, loading and unloading. Training in how to use the truck and the routes is provided.
WHEN: Deliveries usually happen on Thursday mornings, 9:30am - 12:30pm.
Note: All volunteers need to pass a background check, and drivers also need to pass a motor vehicle records check.

- Receive email from Delivery Team Leader with link to schedule for you to sign up for the date and role you’d like. Delivery Team Leader will also coordinate a training time with you.
- Sign up on the schedule after you've been trained.
