Ever wondered what it’s really like to try and find a place to live in Grand Rapids when resources are limited? At the Housing Simulation Experience, you’ll step into the shoes of someone navigating real-life housing challenges right here in our city. Through role play based on true stories, you’ll experience the tough decisions and obstacles people face when trying to find both overnight and long-term housing.

Dègagè Ministries will lead this interactive event on June 2, from 6:30–8pm at our 84th St. Campus. It’s a powerful way to grow in empathy and understanding—and something we’d highly recommend for ages 14 and up. Younger kids can come too if they’re with a guardian, just keep in mind that childcare won’t be provided.
