How do we reach greater depths in our worship?

The passage of Luke 7:36-50 presents a powerful example of worship through the actions of an unnamed woman, who, despite her sinful reputation, displays an intense and unashamed love for Jesus by anointing His feet with perfume. Her worship is juxtaposed with Simon the Pharisee's judgmental attitude, who doubts Jesus' prophetic identity and fails to understand His mission of forgiveness. Jesus addresses this by sharing a parable about two debtors, illustrating that those who are forgiven much, love much. This narrative challenges us to reflect on our own lives, urging us to worship Jesus with a similar intensity and gratitude, fully aware of the forgiveness we've received and the depth of sin from which we've been saved.
