About Group

To help connect people to Christ through prayer. The Prayer Ministry aims to teach and lead the church in both individual and corporate prayer. We will not seek our own will through our own efforts but we will humbly come before God with a repentant heart seeking His will.

1.   Purpose: Prayer warriors make it happen! They carry a burden for the unsaved. They pray for God to send workers, then pray for these precious laborers. When the unsaved repent, they pray and surround them with God’s angels. Through prayer, they motivate faith, love, and unity within the church. Nothing happens without prayer!
2.   Definition: Any individual, young or old, who commits daily and weekly time to pray for the needs of the church is a prayer warrior. Prayer groups are as important as individual prayer warriors. You need not have the gift of intercession. Faithfulness and sincerity are the two needed ingredients to make you a successful prayer partner.
3.   Scriptural Basis: Matt. 9:38 and Gen. 18:9-33
a.   The focus of this ministry is the key to the success of all other ministries in this body. It is simply the calling of this fellowship to prayer.
b.   “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Cor. 10:4).
c.   The prayer and fasting ministry will function both externally, by bringing teaching to the body regarding the importance of prayer, bringing continuous opportunities for corporate prayer, and internally, by taking on the ministry of intercessory prayer as a group.
d.   A pastor’s prayer support team is the ultimate goal of this program.
