We're going OVER THE EDGE! What is rappelling? Rappelling requires teamwork and trust as people descend the mountain using a waist harness & rope. No previous rappelling experience required—this one is for beginners! All rappelling gear is provided and the trip is taught by adults certified in rappelling.
Students must bring their lunch, water bottle and a backpack to carry their things. Transportation is provided. We will leave the Community Church campus at 7:30am Saturday morning and return by 8:00pm that evening. Cost is $20 per person. Register by July 9th. This trip is open to students who have completed the 6th grade or are 12 years old by September 1, 2021.
ATTENTION: This class will be taught by a certified rappelling team. Parents must fill out a liability waiver upon drop-off on Saturday morning before the student can get on the van for the trip.
