Ladies Retreat
February 24-26, 2023
You are invited to a weekend away for a time of refreshment, fellowship and teaching in Myrtle Beach, SC at the Beach Colony Resort. Our speaker will be Janis Newell and the theme is He Knows My Name.
We will begin by focusing on the God who knows us in Sessions 1 and 2. Then, in sessions 3, 4, and 5 we will examine three women from Scripture whose names are unknown to us, but who God knew. Scripture reveals that He knew more about them than just their name – He also knew their needs.
May our hearts sing with joy as we are reminded that the God who was in the lives of these three women is the same God in our lives today – and that He also knows my name and my needs.
The cost is approximately $150; the exact amount will be determined based on the number of attendees. The cost includes 2 nights of lodging and a Saturday evening meal. Friday evening will start later, so plan to eat dinner before you arrive. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday are on your own. The rooms are all the same and include two queen beds and and a pull out sofa, so three ladies per room. We wanted to give everyone their own sleeping space. The rooms also have a kitchenette to accommodate the breakfasts. We will have hot beverages and water during all the sessions.
Regarding transportation, we encourage ladies to carpool. There is a $20.00 parking fee per vehicle for the weekend, so this will need to be split between the ladies in each car. This is not included in the cost of the trip; it is extra.
Registration deadline is 1/01/23.
Payment deadlines:
Deposit of $50, due at time of registration -01/01/23
2nd payment of $50 due 1/15/23
Final payment due 2/5/2023
Payments should be made to Three Rivers Baptist Church with a note on the memo line for Ladies Retreat and should be given to Annette Griffin. Please do not submit your payment with your regular giving and tithes.
